FAQs

Can you write my statement completely from scratch?

Can you write my statement completely from scratch?

No.

It’s not possible to write a personal statement for someone else, nor is it ethical. Our approach is highly collaborative and based entirely on the ideas you share and the way you want to express yourself throughout the application.

Do you use AI to write or edit your work?

No.

AI is not a reliable editing/revision tool.

It does not have the aptitude to work with content as complex and personal in nature as your ERAS CV and PS.

What if I don’t like my personal statement and/or ERAS CV after reviewing it?

We will keep collaborating until you are fully satisfied.

We’re good at what we do, and we guarantee our work. In return, we ask that you provide with clear expectations and honest feedback every step of the way.

How can you help with my MSPE?

The MSPE (Medical School Performance Evaluation) provides insight into your performance during core clinical rotations. It also shares details about your medical school’s curriculum and evaluation standards. While this document was meant to be completed by your medical school, many IMGs are tasked with drafting the MSPE themselves. The alternative is a “blank neutral placeholder” document that can result in your application being filtered out during programs’ initial review process.

Class Act has helped 100+ applicants create strong MSPEs that conform to AAMC standards and help strengthen their application. We are well-versed in each section of the MSPE and will help you develop it from beginning to end.

After our work together is complete, you’ll provide the document to your school for review, approval, and signature.

What is the process for creating an LoR?

Many residency applicants are asked by preceptors to draft their own Letters of Recommendation. This is a daunting process that Class Act helps simplify. You’ll share the details of your clinical experience, indicating the specific strengths you demonstrated and highlighting concrete examples. From there, we will craft a professional letter that you will be proud to share with your preceptor.

What are your success/match rates?

We understand that many applicants are curious about match success rates when considering a service like ours. However, we do not publish such rates for several reasons:

  1. Matching is influenced by numerous factors beyond our control, such as interview performance, practicality of program application choices, number of programs applied to, and the quality of letters of interest and intent.
  2. It’s not possible for us to obtain comprehensive data from all clients, even though we strive to build strong relationships and proactively encourage everyone to share their outcomes.
  3. Publishing match success rates is misleading. Any service claiming exceptionally high rates is likely to be selective about their clientele or their data reporting.

As a final note, Class Act provides Elite Consulting clients with the full scope of services at no cost during the subsequent match cycle if not matched…as this situation is rare. This reflects our confidence in the services offered when clients take advantage of the full scope of our assistance.
